Moving out is stressful enough without a final inspection hanging over it. Our end of lease clean is a detailed, room-by-room vacate clean of an empty property, scoped specifically against the items property managers actually check — ovens, rangehood filters, shower grout, window tracks, skirtings, wardrobe interiors, light fittings and marks on walls.
It is not the same as a premium clean of a lived-in home. An empty property exposes everything the furniture was hiding, and the standard is different: an inspection is a pass or fail against the condition report, not a judgement about whether the place looks nice. We clean to that standard.
Book it for after you have moved out
An end of lease clean should always be scheduled once the property is completely empty, including the garage and any storage areas. Cleaning around remaining furniture or boxes means those areas cannot be done properly, and they are exactly the areas an agent will look at.
Send photos of every room
As with all our services, we quote from reference images of each room. For an end of lease clean this matters more than usual — condition varies enormously between properties, and photos are what let us give you an honest price rather than an estimate that moves on the day.
Carpet cleaning is available as an add-on
Most residential leases require carpets to be professionally cleaned before handover, with a receipt provided to the agent. We can supply carpet cleaning services at an additional charge when booking your end of lease clean — just ask for it in your enquiry. Booking both together means we sequence them correctly: the property clean first, carpets last, so nothing is walked over while it dries. Tiled bathrooms and showers can be added the same way through our tile and grout service.
What is not included
Pest control is a specialist licensed service and is not something we provide. External window cleaning above ground level, and any repair of existing damage, are also outside scope. Tell us what your lease requires and we will be clear about what we do and do not cover.

End of Lease Clean — your questions answered
When should I book my end of lease clean?
As soon as you have given notice. End of lease jobs are full-day bookings and the end of each month fills up fast. Schedule the clean for after you have fully vacated and before your final inspection, leaving a day or two of buffer if you can.
Does the property need to be empty?
Yes. We cannot properly clean cupboards, wardrobes, floors and skirtings around furniture and boxes, and those are the areas agents check most closely. The property should be completely empty, including the garage.
Do you do carpet cleaning as well?
Yes. We can supply carpet cleaning services at an additional charge when booking your end of lease clean — most leases require it with a receipt for the agent. Ask for it in your enquiry and we will quote it in and schedule the carpets after the property clean. See our carpet and upholstery cleaning page for what is involved.
What if the agent picks something up at inspection?
Contact us as soon as you know. If an item within our agreed scope was missed, we will work with you to resolve it. Items outside the scope we quoted — existing damage, carpet steam cleaning, pest control, or areas that were still occupied at the time of the clean — sit outside what we can be responsible for.
Do you clean the garage and outdoor areas?
We can include garage sweeping and cobweb removal, plus balconies and covered outdoor areas, when they are noted in the quote. Mention them in your enquiry so they are priced in rather than assumed.
